My favorite product design is when friends collaborate to create a shared object. Creating something special from scrap fabric is a wonderful act of sustainable design.

The Summit Scarf is a collaboration between Wintercheck Factory and Colt+Rane, a NYC-based art, design and culture blog. After digging through piles of fabric remnants from their clothing line, Wintercheck Factory discovered some leftovers of the Japanese Tencel/Cotton/Polyester blend originally used for the Michael Shirt and Eunice Dress.
A favorite fabric in the collection, the material is incredibly soft and lightweight but cut generously so that it can transition through multiple seasons. The Summit Scarf is a limited run, offered in three styles selected by Colt+Rane and fabricated by Wintercheck Factory.
LIMITED RUN, 266 UNITS, Colt + Rane Collaboration, Made in Brooklyn, New York, 50% Cotton 35% Rayon 15% Tencel, Fabric Imported from Japan, Machine Washable, Contrasting Pearl Stitch Edge, WCF Antiqued Nickel Detail, 22″W 65″L
